About Parma Street Food

The Parma Street Food Festival transforms the historic Ducal Park into a large open-air stage dedicated to street food. About thirty food trucks with specialties from Parma's tradition and international offerings, live music every evening, DJ sets, the Vanitas' Market for creative crafts, and many activities for children liven up the green heart of the city. Admission is completely free, and the atmosphere is that of a great popular festival in the Oltretorrente district.

Street food invades the Ducal Park

The Parma Street Food Festival is one of the most beloved gastronomic events of the Parma summer. Every year, at the beginning of summer, Parma's Ducal Park, in the Oltretorrente district, transforms into a large open-air food village, where street food meets live music, crafts, and fun for all ages. The event is organized by Confesercenti Parma with the patronage and collaboration of the Municipality of Parma, in one of the most evocative monumental settings of the city, the food capital in the heart of Emilia-Romagna.

About thirty food trucks from around the world

The heart of the festival is the selection of food trucks: about thirty kitchens on wheels offering the best of national and international street food. It ranges from Parma's tradition — with the great protagonists of the Food Valley — to the most curious specialties from abroad, with several vans dedicated to world cuisines. There is also a bar area, with the Down Under Pub for aperitifs and cocktails, and stands dedicated to craft beer.

Music, markets, and fun

Every evening the park comes alive with live concerts, DJ sets, and themed parties on multiple stages, while during the day the Vanitas' Market returns, the market for Italian crafts and creativity with dozens of exhibitors. Numerous activities are planned for the little ones: the traveling library "Libri con le ruote" (Books on Wheels), the giant chessboard, wooden games from Officina Clandestina, and guided walks by Parmakids to discover the history of the ducal garden.

A free event for everyone

Now in its tenth edition in 2026, the Parma Street Food Festival is a classic on the city's calendar: a completely free event that combines good food, music, and socializing in one of Parma's iconic locations. Mayor Michele Guerra has described the event as "an objective built over the years," capable of enhancing the park while respecting its monumental character.

Parma Street Food — edition 2026

The tenth edition of the Parma Street Food Festival took place from May 29 to June 2, 2026, at the Ducal Park, featuring about thirty national and international food trucks, the Vanitas' Market, live music every evening, and many activities for children. Free admission.

For its tenth edition, the Parma Street Food Festival returned to the Ducal Park from May 29 to June 2, 2026, confirming the formula that combines street food, music, and entertainment for all ages. About thirty food trucks — several of which were dedicated to world cuisines — offered specialties from Parma's tradition and international cuisine, accompanied by the bar area of the Down Under Pub and craft beer stands. The Vanitas' Market for creative crafts enlivened the central avenue from 11:00 AM each day.
