The Park comes to town

Parco in Festa is the festival that brings the Stelvio National Park — one of Europe's largest and most important — to the centre of Bormio, in the province of Sondrio. For a few days in August, the village streets, squares, venues, and accommodation facilities transform into a large, widespread stage dedicated to nature, scientific research, and mountain culture.
