Pac-Vullo, street food comes to the Apennines

The Pac-Vullo Street Food & Craft Beer Festival is one of the most anticipated gastronomic events of the summer in Pavullo nel Frignano, the main center of the Modenese Apennines in the province of Modena, in Emilia-Romagna. For an entire weekend, usually in mid-July, the central Piazza Arturo Toscanini with its arcades transforms into a large village of taste, with food trucks, craft breweries, and stages for live music.

Food trucks from all over Italy (and beyond)

The heart of the festival are the food trucks and mobile kitchens that bring Italian and international street food specialties to Pavullo. In recent editions, the square has been enlivened by Abruzzese arrosticini, chianina burgers, Dutch fries, fish dishes, American-style pulled pork sandwiches, Sardinian cuisine, traditional stews, and street desserts. A varied offering, designed to satisfy every palate and encourage visitors to explore different stands.

Craft beer takes center stage

Alongside food, craft beer is the other main star: several breweries offer draft selections, with styles and productions that change from year to year. The festival has distinguished itself with its innovations, such as the introduction of original draft systems that have made the experience in the square even more spectacular.

Live music and festive atmosphere

The evenings at Pac-Vullo are accompanied by concerts and DJ sets: tribute bands, covers of great Emilian musicians like Ligabue, Zucchero, and Vasco Rossi, rock reinterpretations of film soundtracks, and dance nights mark the three days of the event, creating the typical convivial atmosphere of summer village festivals.

A charitable event for the community

Pac-Vullo is organized by the association Sei di Pavullo se…, which donates the proceeds of the event to charitable causes and to support local sports and social initiatives in the Pavullo area.
