Orvieto, Radici e Visioni is a photographic exhibition that offers an intimate and contemporary look at the city of the cliff, in the Province of Terni. The exhibition brings together the work of photographers Roberta Cotigni and Noemi Morelli, who through their shots investigate the roots, identity, and visions of Orvieto.
Between roots and visions
The title of the exhibition itself summarises its spirit: on one hand, the roots, meaning the memory, places, and traditions that define the city; on the other hand, the visions, new perspectives, and interpretations that photography provides. A journey that invites the visitor to rediscover Orvieto with different eyes.
At the Palazzo dei Sette
The exhibition is set up in the atrium of the Palazzo dei Sette, one of the symbolic buildings of Orvieto's historic centre. The initiative is part of the "Orvieto Always On" event calendar, promoted by the Municipality of Orvieto, and is aimed at both residents and the numerous visitors to this Umbrian city.
Radici e Visioni — edition 2026
From September 5 to 20, 2026, the atrium of the Palazzo dei Sette in Orvieto hosts the photographic exhibition "Orvieto, Radici e Visioni". The exhibition features photographs by Roberta Cotigni and Noemi Morelli, the result of a project dedicated to the roots and visions of the city of the cliff.
The exhibition is part of the unique event calendar "Orvieto Always On 2026", promoted by the Municipality of Orvieto.
