AnticaMente is the market exhibition of antiques and collectibles that enlivens Piazza della Repubblica every month, in the historic centre of Orvieto, in the province of Terni. A regular event for collectors, the curious, and vintage lovers.
What to find
Among the stalls, you can find antique furniture and objects, prints, old books, coins, vinyl records, ceramics, jewellery, and bric-a-brac. Exhibitors come from all over Umbria and neighbouring regions, creating a market that grows in the spring and summer months, often exceeding forty stalls.
A reference point in Umbria
Organised by the InDivenire association under the AnticaMente brand and sponsored by the Municipality of Orvieto, the market takes place on the third Sunday of every month. The format has expanded to other Umbrian towns — Todi, Perugia, and Foligno — becoming a benchmark for collecting in the region. In Orvieto, it remains an opportunity to stroll among the stalls and discover the city on the cliff.
AnticaMente — edition 2026
For 2026, AnticaMente confirms its monthly appointment in Piazza della Repubblica in Orvieto, on the third Sunday of each month, from 9 AM until sunset.
The stalls, over forty in peak months, offer antiques, collectibles, and bric-a-brac from exhibitors from all over Umbria and nearby regions. Some special editions are planned for spring, coinciding with holidays.

How to get there
Orvieto can be reached from the Orvieto exit of the A1 motorway and from the railway station on the Rome-Florence line, with a funicular to the historic centre. Piazza della Repubblica is in the heart of the city, reachable on foot.
Admission and opening hours
Free admission. The market runs from 9 AM until sunset. It is held on the third Sunday of each month, with possible special editions on holidays.
