About Lo Sbaracco

Twice a year, at the end of winter and the end of summer, the historic centre of Orvieto transforms into a large open-air market: it's Lo Sbaracco, the end-of-season sales weekend. Shop windows, stalls, and shops offer sales and bargains, while street artists liven up streets and squares. An initiative by Confcommercio Orvieto to experience and revitalise the heart of the city.

The sales weekend in Orvieto

Lo Sbaracco is the commercial event that, twice a year, enlivens the historic centre of Orvieto (province of Terni) with three days dedicated to end-of-season sales. The city's streets and squares fill with shop windows, stalls, and shops offering unmissable sales and bargains.

Shopping and street artists

In addition to commercial offerings, Lo Sbaracco offers a festive atmosphere thanks to the street artists who liven up the centre, transforming shopping into a pleasant experience for residents and tourists. The initiative is organised by Confcommercio Orvieto with the patronage of the Municipality of Orvieto.

Two events a year

Lo Sbaracco is held in two editions: a winter one, in March, which marks the end of winter sales, and a summer one, in September, dedicated to end-of-season sales. In both cases, the goal is to enhance and revitalise commerce in Orvieto's historic centre.

Lo Sbaracco — edition 2026

In 2026, Lo Sbaracco returns to Orvieto in two editions: the winter one from March 6 to 8 and the summer one from September 4 to 6. Three days each of end-of-season sales, stalls, and street artists in the historic centre, organised by Confcommercio Orvieto with the patronage of the Municipality.

The 2026 edition of Lo Sbaracco confirms the biannual event that characterises the initiative. The winter edition takes place from March 6 to 8, marking the end of winter sales, while the summer edition is scheduled from September 4 to 6.

For three days, the streets and squares of the historic centre will come alive with shop windows, stalls, and shops offering bargains and deals, accompanied by street artist performances. The initiative is promoted by Confcommercio Orvieto with the patronage of the Municipality of Orvieto.
