Olioliva is the festival celebrating extra virgin olive oil, a symbolic product of Liguria and particularly of the province of Imperia, home of the Taggiasca olive. Every November, coinciding with the olive pressing, the historic centre of Oneglia transforms into a grand showcase of new oil and the region's food and wine excellences.

Among Arcades and Producer Stands

The characteristic arcaded streets of Oneglia fill with producer stands, markets of typical products, tastings, and show cooking. It's the perfect opportunity to taste the freshly pressed oil, meet the millers, and buy specialities from the Riviera dei Fiori directly, from oil to olives, from baked goods to local wines.

Olioliva is more than just a market: the event features meetings, workshops, and in-depth sessions on olive-growing culture, oil quality, and tasting techniques. It's a way to introduce the public to the world of extra virgin olive oil with awareness, valuing the work of local producers.
