A year of literature in Cervo

Cervo in Blu d'Inchiostro is one of the most original literary reviews in Western Liguria: instead of concentrating in a few days, it distributes its meetings throughout much of the year, from winter to autumn. The heart of the event is the Oratory of Santa Caterina, in the charming village of Cervo, in the province of Imperia, one of the Most Beautiful Villages in Italy.

The edition for women

The 14th edition in 2026 is titled 'For Women. Stories of women, stories of words' and is dedicated to the voices and stories of women in literature and history. Curated by Francesca Rotta Gentile, a literature teacher at the Liceo Cassini in Sanremo, the review features a total of 23 meetings, thirteen in Cervo and ten in the twin village of Perno (Monforte d'Alba), in the Langhe region.

Voices of contemporary culture

The program brings together leading names from the Italian cultural scene: from journalist Tiziana Ferrario to psychoanalyst Massimo Recalcati, from writer Nadia Terranova to author Carlo Lucarelli, along with scholars from Italian and foreign universities. The meetings at the Oratory are free admission and are recognized by the Ministry of Education as training for teachers. An event that makes Cervo a reference point for book culture.
