The core of the event is the Regional Sicilian Poetry Reading, a grand collective recital bringing together poets and authors from nearly every province on the island, accompanied by live music, dance, and performing arts.

The evening takes place within the halls and courtyard of the Ducal Palace of the Princes Tomasi di Lampedusa, the historic residence of the family that gave birth to Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa, author of the famous novel The Leopard. This captivating setting provides the backdrop for an event that has become a permanent fixture in the town's cultural calendar.

The event, conceived and directed by Dr. Salvo Amato, national delegate of ENAC for the provinces of Agrigento and Caltanissetta, weaves together poetry and recognition. Throughout the evening, numerous ENAC awards are presented to celebrate the island's excellence, including honors for culture, dance, folk traditions, musical arts, journalism, and social commitment.

Alongside the poetry program, the event features musical moments with choirs and traditional Sicilian groups, dance performances, and showcases for emerging young talent, fostering a dialogue between different generations and artistic languages.
