About Natale Village

Every December, the A1Expò Exhibition Centre in San Marco Evangelista transforms into Natale Village, one of the most popular Christmas villages in the province of Caserta. Entirely indoor, it brings together a Santa Claus themed trail featuring the Sweet Factory, the Elves' Post Office, and the Reindeer Stable, alongside craft markets, puppet shows, street performers, mascot parades, and a large food court. Entry to the illuminations, markets, and shows is free: an event designed for families, regardless of the weather.

An entirely indoor Christmas village

At the beginning of December, the A1Expò Exhibition Centre in San Marco Evangelista, a town in the province of Caserta, Campania, transforms into Natale Village: a complete Christmas village set up within the exhibition halls, just minutes from the Caserta Sud motorway exit. The feature that sets it apart from most Christmas events in Campania is simple yet decisive: it takes place entirely indoors, so rain, wind, and cold never spoil the day. This is why, edition after edition, the event has become one of the most anticipated December appointments in the entire province. In December 2025, the event reached its fourth edition.

The Santa Claus themed trail

The heart of the event is the themed trail dedicated to Santa Claus, which is renewed every year with new scenery and immersive settings. Along the way, children walk through the classic environments of the village, recreated to be family-friendly:

  • the Sweet Factory, the pastry elves' workshop;
  • the Elves' Post Office, where letters are delivered;
  • the Reindeer Stable, home to the animals that pull the sleigh;
  • numerous scenic spots and photo sets designed for family photos;
  • the meeting with Santa Claus, the final and most awaited stop on the trail.

Shows, circus, and entertainment

Alongside the trail, every opening day is marked by a continuous program of shows. In the 2025 edition, the main novelty was the Christmas Circus, joined by a calendar that already has its own established identity:

  • street performers and magic shows;
  • children's theatre and puppet shows;
  • baby dance and entertainment for the little ones;
  • parades with cartoon mascot characters;
  • musicals and live musical performances;
  • tombolate (bingo games), an essential Christmas ritual in Campania.

Craft markets and food area

The exhibition part of the event is the one most closely linked to the local area. In the wooden huts of the craft markets, you can find gift ideas, toys, Christmas decorations, and the work of master nativity scene makers, guardians of a tradition that has ancient roots in Campania and is recognized throughout Italy. There is also a food area, with stalls dedicated to typical products and festive sweets, where you can stop between one show and another.

Mornings reserved for schools

On weekdays between the opening weekends, mornings are dedicated to school visits, by reservation: a guided tour that takes classes inside the village before it opens to the public. It is a formula that has greatly contributed to the event's popularity among nursery and primary schools in the Caserta area.

San Marco Evangelista and the Caserta area

The Municipality of San Marco Evangelista is located in the immediate southern outskirts of Caserta, in an industrial area that is well-connected and easily accessible from Naples, Benevento, and lower Lazio. The A1Expò Exhibition Centre covers a total area of about 30,000 square metres, just a few kilometres from the Royal Palace of Caserta: many families take advantage of their visit to the village to combine it with a walk in the historic centre of Caserta or the Royal Park on the same day.

An event for all ages

Natale Village is not just an event for children: free entry to the illuminations, markets, and shows makes it a destination accessible even to those who simply want to walk among the lights, buy crafts, or dine in the food area. The combination of complete indoor coverage, ample parking, and a continuous program explains why, in just a few editions, it has become a Christmas reference point for the entire province of Caserta.

Natale Village — edition 2026

The 2026 edition of Natale Village is expected, as per tradition, in December at the A1Expò Exhibition Centre in San Marco Evangelista, in the province of Caserta. At the moment, the organizers have not yet released the official calendar or the program of the event: dates, times, and attractions will be announced in the weeks leading up to the opening through A1Expò's official channels. We recommend checking the information before travelling.

Natale Village 2026: what we know so far

After the fourth edition in December 2025, the Natale Village at the A1Expò Exhibition Centre in San Marco Evangelista is expected back for the Christmas period. As of the writing of this page, the organization has not yet published the dates, times, or program for the 2026 edition: for this reason, the information provided here should be considered provisional.

In previous editions, the event took place over the weekends of December, entirely indoors, with a themed trail dedicated to Santa Claus, craft markets, shows, and a food area, with free entry to illuminations, markets, and shows. However, none of this is confirmed for 2026 until the official announcement arrives.

To find out the dates as soon as they are released, it is best to follow the A1Expò channels and the Natale Village Caserta Facebook page, or contact the exhibition centre directly at +39 0823 1766542.
