Yoga, meditation, and holistic festival in the green heart of the Amalfi Coast
In 2026, Namasté Praiano, the Amalfi Coast’s premier event for yoga, meditation, and holistic disciplines, leaves the seaside for the first time to head into the mountains. From September 4th to 6th, 2026, the festival will take place in the Novella hamlet, in the municipality of Tramonti (Salerno, Campania). This initiative stems from a partnership between Praiano and Tramonti and is promoted by project founder Elvira Zingone, with the goal of fostering sustainable, experiential tourism, highlighting the natural and cultural heritage of the Coast, and extending the season beyond the peak summer months.
Tramonti is the greenest municipality on the Amalfi Coast: a mosaic of hamlets scattered among chestnut woods, ancient paths, dry-stone walls, and vineyards—just a few kilometers from the sea, yet with a distinct mountain soul. This landscape sets the tone for the 2026 edition, designed as a slow-paced experience where practice takes place outdoors, fully immersed in nature. The festival kicks off on Friday, September 4th, with an Ashtanga Yoga session and concludes on Sunday, September 6th, with the Morning Club, a format dedicated to movement and music at the start of the day.
The program is led by a team of teachers and holistic practitioners already announced by the organizers: Daniela Quintiliani, Marzia Rossi, Sara Ruocco, Paola De Martino, Francesca Zannelli, Teodoro Castolo, and Emiliana Sorrentino. Each practice offers a unique perspective, allowing participants to transition throughout the weekend from the dynamism of Ashtanga to the stillness of Yin, and from breathwork to sound therapy.
Namasté Praiano began in Praiano, where it took shape as a festival spread across the town’s squares and the panoramic terraces of Palazzo Zingone, overlooking Capri and Positano. In June 2025, the event hosted its Oasi Olistica edition, enriched by the Drishti collective exhibition. Now in its seventh year, the 2026 edition adds this new September stop in Tramonti to its summer schedule in Praiano. This evolution reflects the core philosophy: taking practice out of the studio and into the landscape, using wellness as a key to discovering the territory.
Those who come to Namasté Praiano won't just find a schedule of classes, but a weekend where yoga, meditation, hiking, and conviviality intertwine. The formula is perfect for those seeking a short, rejuvenating getaway, for practitioners looking to explore different styles, and for those who wish to discover a lesser-known side of the Amalfi Coast—the one of woods and inland villages. Participation requires very little: a yoga mat, comfortable shoes for the trails, and a willingness to slow down.
Suspended between the Valico di Chiunzi pass and the coast, Tramonti has always been the green pantry of the Divine Coast: historic vineyards, chestnut forests, vegetable gardens, and a solid farming tradition that coexists with tourism. Hosting a yoga and meditation festival here means offering a different reading of the coastal Campania region—quieter and less crowded—where the agricultural landscape becomes an integral part of the experience.
The seventh year of Namasté Praiano marks an important milestone: from September 4th to 6th, 2026, the festival moves to the Novella hamlet in the municipality of Tramonti, thanks to a partnership between Praiano and Tramonti. The organizers' stated goal is to promote sustainable, experiential tourism and enhance the natural and cultural heritage of the Amalfi Coast, shifting focus from crowded hotspots toward the hinterland.
The program alternates Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Yin, and Kundalini Yoga practices with breathwork and mindfulness sessions, including space for shiatsu and sound meditation. Alongside mat-based classes, there are trekking excursions in the chestnut groves and open-air activities among terraces and vineyards. As founder Elvira Zingone emphasizes, wellness becomes a concrete tool here to rediscover the territory and build authentic relationships.
The festival kicks off on Friday, September 4th, with an Ashtanga Yoga practice and concludes on Sunday, September 6th, with the Morning Club, a format dedicated to music and movement in the early hours of the day.
The 2026 edition activities will be held in the Novella hamlet, in the municipality of Tramonti (SA), Amalfi Coast, Campania.
