Classical music in the woods of the Dolomites
Vacanze Musicali is a summer music advanced studies course that combines study, nature, and conviviality. It takes place in Cortina d'Ampezzo, in the province of Belluno, at the Casa delle Orsoline al Faloria, a facility of the Ursuline Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart located at the foot of Faloria, on the edge of the woods and a short walk from the center.
A total musical experience
The course offers daily individual instrument lessons, orchestra rehearsals, chamber music, choir, theater, and concerts. The format is designed for all levels, from beginners to students of academic courses, and it is all-inclusive: full board, daily lessons, access to instruments for individual study, and side activities. An opportunity to improve, prepare for exams and competitions, and experience music in a unique setting.
A growing tradition in Cortina
Reaching its fifteenth anniversary in 2026, the initiative is in its third consecutive year in Cortina d'Ampezzo, where it has found an ideal setting in the Venetian Dolomites. An event that combines quality musical training with the beauty of the mountains.
Musical Holidays — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of Vacanze Musicali, celebrating the fifteenth anniversary of the initiative and the third consecutive year in Cortina, is held from July 6th to 19th at the Casa delle Orsoline al Faloria. The days are marked by individual instrument lessons, orchestra rehearsals, chamber music, choir, theater, and concerts, in an all-inclusive format with full board. Registrations are open on the official website.

Typical daily program of the advanced studies course:
- Individual instrument lessons every day with the teachers

How to get there
Cortina d'Ampezzo is reachable by car via the SS51. The Casa delle Orsoline al Faloria is located just outside the center, at the foot of Faloria.
Registration
Registration for the new edition is done on the official website vacanzemusicali.eu. The fee includes full board, individual lessons, and all activities; an association fee is required.
