Baldoria Summer Splash: Summer explodes in Brentonico

Every July, the Brentonico Plateau, in the heart of lower Trentino, lights up with Baldoria Summer Splash, one of the most anticipated events of the Vallagarina summer. Born from the enthusiasm of the young members of the Associazione Giovani La Colonnina, the event has grown to attract thousands of people who flock to Cesare Battisti Park every year for three days of music, sports, fun, and great food.

A mix of music, sports, and entertainment

The formula that has made Baldoria a success is simple and effective: bringing different generations and passions together in one big, free-admission event. Throughout the afternoons and evenings, the star of the show is the splash football tournament, a spectacular variation of football played on a field made slippery with water, which is just as fun for the participants as it is for the spectators. In parallel, national and international DJs take turns on stage, with sets that keep the park buzzing until late at night.

Three days of celebration

The program spans three days, each with its own unique identity:

• Friday: themed evening featuring formats dedicated to the greatest hits of yesterday and today, complete with entertainment and special effects.
• Saturday: the main event, featuring a special guest and a long lineup of DJs at the console.
• Sunday: "locals" aperitif and happy hour, to wrap up the weekend on a light note with music from local DJs.

The experience is rounded off by the food and wine section, with stands dedicated to local flavors, beer, and options for every taste, designed to make the event complete and family-friendly.

A local event

Baldoria Summer Splash is much more than just a party: it is a youth-led project that brings vitality to the Brentonico Plateau, one of the most picturesque municipalities in Trentino-Alto Adige, overlooking Lake Garda and Monte Baldo. Thanks to the volunteer work of the Associazione La Colonnina, every edition combines fun with a sense of community, attracting young people from across the province of Trento and beyond, while remaining a key gathering point for the entire town.
