Tyrolean concert at the Madonna della Neve Alpine Church, in Valle dei Ronchi
Musica Natura Relazioni is the summer concert series promoted by the Monte Baldo Local Natural Park, which brings together the five municipalities of the area — Ala, Avio, Brentonico, Mori, and Nago-Torbole — in a single program spread across the Vallagarina and the Trentino side of Lake Garda. In the territory of Avio, in the province of Trento, the event takes place in the evocative Madonna della Neve Alpine Church, a small mountain chapel nestled in the woods of the Valle dei Ronchi, near Maso Eccheli. Here, live music meets the silence and nature of the Park, in an experience that combines listening, hiking, and landscape.
The Avio concert is dedicated to the alpine and Tyrolean musical tradition: brass, accordion, and voices bring to life a repertoire that weaves together solemnity and lightness, as the program's title suggests. The intimate atmosphere of the small church and the surrounding meadows provides the perfect setting for an afternoon of music designed for families, hikers, and enthusiasts, often preceded or accompanied by a walk along the trails of Monte Baldo. The programming, curated by artistic director Giovanni Costantini and organized by the Superflùo association, ranges from classical music to European folk and popular sounds.
Musica Natura Relazioni is more than just a concert season: it is a cultural project that enhances the Monte Baldo Local Natural Park and its municipalities, promoting slow, environmentally conscious tourism. The events, such as the one in Avio, are free of charge and open to residents, visitors, and families, with the goal of experiencing the mountains in an authentic way. The common thread remains the relationship between sound, nature, and community: hence the title of the event, which intertwines music, the environment, and human relationships.
Nestled at the southern end of the Adige Valley, the Municipality of Avio is famous for its medieval castle, vineyards, and western access to the Monte Baldo Park. Hosting a stage of the festival here means combining the historical and landscape heritage of the village with the beauty of the mountains, offering visitors an opportunity to discover an authentic corner of the Trentino-Alto Adige region, amidst nature, culture, and music.
On Saturday, August 1, 2026, in the afternoon, the Musica Natura Relazioni festival stops in the Municipality of Avio with a concert in the evocative Madonna della Neve Alpine Church, nestled in the woods of the Valle dei Ronchi, near Maso Eccheli. The protagonist is the Klasa Musi ensemble, directed by Peter Moriggl, with the program "Solenne e spensierato" (Solemn and Carefree): an afternoon of Tyrolean music performed with brass and accordion, under the fir trees of the Monte Baldo Park. Admission is free.
Avio is located at the southern end of the province of Trento, along the Adige Valley. By car, it is accessible from the A22 Brenner motorway (Ala-Avio exit) and the SS12 state road; the Madonna della Neve Alpine Church is then reached by driving up towards the Valle dei Ronchi along mountain roads. By train, the nearest station is Ala, on the Verona–Brenner line.
The concert in Avio is free to attend. For updates on times, reservations, and any guided walks, we recommend checking the festival's official website, www.musicanaturarelazioni.it, and the pages of the Municipality of Avio.
As this is a high-altitude concert nestled in the woods, we recommend comfortable trekking shoes, layered clothing, and a jacket for the mountain afternoon. In case of bad weather, the event may be moved or cancelled: always check for updates on official channels.
