About MusArt Festival

MusArt Festival Florence is the premier summer live music event that transforms the Pratolino Medici Park—a UNESCO World Heritage site just outside Florence—into an open-air arena under the stars. Featuring a mix of rock, singer-songwriter performances, pop, and classical masterpieces, the festival brings together Italian and international stars in a Renaissance setting dominated by Giambologna’s Colossus of the Apennines. A concert season that weaves together music, art, and nature in the heart of Tuscany.

MusArt Festival Florence

The MusArt Festival Florence is one of the most anticipated musical events of the Tuscan summer. Established in 2014, the festival has captivated audiences by blending high-quality live music with the beauty of the landscape and artistic heritage, in a format that highlights both the concerts and the iconic venues that host them. The event is produced by the Musart Association, under the artistic direction of Stefano Senardi, with the support of the CR Firenze Foundation, the Tuscany Region, and the Metropolitan City of Florence.

The Pratolino Medici Park

Since 2024, the festival has found its home in the Pratolino Medici Park, located in the municipality of Vaglia, just outside Florence, in the heart of Tuscany. It is an extraordinary location: a Renaissance garden, now a UNESCO World Heritage site, commissioned by the Medici family and dominated by the imposing Colossus of the Apennines by Giambologna. Here, where the Grand Ducal court once held festivities and spectacles, a grand open-air arena comes to life every evening, immersed in greenery and history.

A lineup of rock, singer-songwriters, and classical music

The MusArt programming is intentionally eclectic, spanning genres and generations. From international rock to Italian singer-songwriters, and from contemporary pop to the great masterpieces of classical and symphonic music, each edition offers a diverse calendar of evenings designed to satisfy a broad and curious audience.

  • Concerts by major names from the Italian and international scene
  • Classical and symphonic music evenings with orchestras and choirs
  • Special events such as dawn concerts and guided tours through the park's artworks

Beyond music: art and nature

The festival extends beyond the stage. Before the concerts, spectators can access the Emotional Paths, guided itineraries through the park's artistic landmarks—from the Paggeria to contemporary architectural features—to discover the historical and landscape layers of Pratolino. This is the hallmark of MusArt: a complete experience that fuses music, art, and the environment into a single narrative.

A staple of the Florentine summer

With its evenings spread between late June and the end of July, the MusArt Festival Florence has become a reference point for those seeking major concerts in the Tuscan setting, away from the city heat and immersed in the cool hills of the Mugello. An opportunity to experience live music in one of Italy's most evocative contexts.

MusArt Festival — edition 2026

The 11th edition of the MusArt Festival Florence takes place from June 28 to July 26, 2026, at the Pratolino Medici Park. A month of major concerts ranging from Ben Harper's international rock to singer-songwriter performances, pop, and great classical music with Carmina Burana performed by the Orchestra and Choir of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, concluding with the evocative dawn concert.
