Morbegno's Cellars Open Their Doors

Morbegno in Cantina is the great wine festival of Morbegno (Province of Sondrio): for a few autumn weekends, about fifty historic cellars in the town center open their doors to the public, allowing you to taste Valtellina wines in the evocative settings of the traditional 'crotti' and ancient cellars. The historic center thus transforms into a widespread enogastronomic route, to be discovered with a glass in hand.

A Journey Through the Flavors of Valtellina

The event celebrates the wine identity of the region, particularly the wines made from the Nebbiolo grape (known locally as Chiavennasca) that have made Valtellina famous. Alongside the wines, the cellars offer local typical products, from cheeses to cured meats, in pairings that tell the gastronomic culture of this alpine valley. Each cellar becomes a stop on an itinerary of taste, history, and atmosphere.
