Outdoor sport takes centre stage in Val d'Ayas
The Monterosa Outdoor Festival is the grand celebration of mountain sports that, every June, enlivens the municipalities of Brusson and Ayas, in Val d'Ayas (Province of Aosta), at the foot of the Monte Rosa massif. Born from the experience of the historic Monterosa Prestige race, the festival broadens its horizons, transforming the entire valley into an open-air stage.
Many disciplines, one energy
The program intertwines the most diverse souls of the mountains: from mountain biking to trail running, from yoga to climbing, up to hiking and slow walks. An offering designed for all levels, from the athlete seeking adrenaline to the visitor who wishes to discover nature at a gentler pace.
Monterosa Prestige, the heart of the event
The sporting soul of the weekend is the Monterosa Prestige, the historic mountain bike ultramarathon held over two routes — the Marathon and Granfondo courses — which tests bikers amidst the spectacular panoramas of the Val d'Ayas.
Not just racing: village, flavours, and music
In the centre of Brusson, the festival village comes alive with exhibitor stands, test drives of bicycles and outdoor equipment. There are also convivial moments: evenings with testimonials and athletes, entertainment, music, and food and wine stops at local dairies, breweries, and vineyards, to combine sport with local discovery.

The Monterosa Outdoor Festival 2026 takes place from Saturday, June 20 to Monday, June 22 between Brusson and Ayas, in Val d'Ayas, at the foot of Monte Rosa. The festival offers a weekend of sport and adventure for all levels, with the Monterosa Prestige as the absolute protagonist.

- Start of the MTB ultramarathon Monterosa Prestige, with the two routes Marathon (approx. 73 km) and Granfondo (approx. 53 km)
- In the evening — Entertainment with personalities from the world of sport
Monday, June 22, 2026 — Bikes, flavours, and exhibitors
- Cycling outings with food and wine stops at local dairies, breweries, and vineyards
- Exhibitor area and test drives of outdoor products in the centre of Brusson

How to get there
Brusson and Ayas are reached from the Verrès motorway exit (A5), driving up the Val d'Ayas. Champoluc (Ayas) and Brusson are the two main hubs of the event.
