Two days of fashion shows blending elegance, creativity, and emerging talent in Piazza Guglielmo II
Monreale Moda is an event that brings high fashion to the heart of Monreale, a Norman town near Palermo world-renowned for its Cathedral and extraordinary Byzantine mosaics. For two days, the evocative Piazza Guglielmo II, framed by the monumental complex, transforms into an open-air runway showcasing collections, accessories, and the latest trends.
The festival was created for fashion and design enthusiasts, fostering a dialogue between established brands and young emerging talents, offering a comprehensive look at current trends and bold visions for the future of fashion. The artistic direction is led by Luca Lo Bosco, supported by the models of the L.L.B. Team, who bring rhythm and style to the evenings.
A distinctive feature of the event is its strong connection to local craftsmanship: the hairdressers of Monreale, coordinated by Salvo Lo Coco and united under the collective brand "Ad ognuno il suo stile", participate in the shows. Hairstyling becomes an integral part of the spectacle, highlighting the expertise of local workshops.
One of the evenings is dedicated to the future of fashion with the "Giovani Talenti" (Young Talents) competition, promoted in partnership with the Sicily Fashion Week network and Confartigianato Imprese Sicilia. It provides a concrete opportunity for young designers to gain visibility, present their creations, and establish themselves in the Sicilian fashion scene.
Supported by the Municipality of Monreale, the event enlivens the historic center in a unique Sicilian setting, attracting both residents and visitors. Admission to the shows is free until capacity is reached, with the square specially set up to welcome the public in the evenings.
Blending fashion, craftsmanship, and local identity, Monreale Moda has become a recurring fixture on the city's calendar, weaving together the beauty of Norman heritage with the vitality of contemporary creativity in one of the most visited locations in the Palermo area.
