The closing night of the travelling festival that blends music and food & wine in the heart of the Asti Monferrato
Monferrato On Stage is the travelling festival that has been touring the Monferrato hills since 2016, weaving together great live music and the region's food and wine excellence. Every summer, the festival visits dozens of villages across the provinces of Asti, Turin, and Alessandria, and the stop in Camerano Casasco — a small municipality in the Province of Asti, Piedmont — traditionally represents one of the most anticipated moments: the evening that closes the entire event.
The setting is the Parco Conte in Camerano, a green space overlooking the Monferrato hills, where the audience enjoys the concert immersed in the landscape. The Monferrato On Stage formula is unmistakable: before or during the show, the public can enjoy tastings of typical Piedmontese products, from local cellar wines to cheeses, cured meats, and Monferrato culinary specialities, in collaboration with local producers, farmers, and consortia.
Organised by the Fondazione MOS ETS, chaired by Cristiano Massaia, the festival was born with the aim of enhancing the sense of identity and belonging to the Monferrato, promoting its historical, cultural, and gastronomic heritage. Over the years, the line-up has hosted singer-songwriters, bands, and nationally renowned artists, with constant attention to young talent through the Monferrato Next project, as well as sustainability and inclusion.
Nestled in the Monferrato hills, in the Province of Asti, Camerano Casasco is a village that preserves the slow and authentic rhythm of the Piedmontese countryside. For one night a year, the town becomes the stage for a celebration that brings together residents and visitors, celebrating music, fine dining, and the beauty of a territory nominated as a UNESCO World Heritage site for its vineyard landscapes.
