The great Piedmontese wine festival in the historic center of Trino
Trino DiVino is the food and wine event that draws enthusiasts and curious visitors every year to the heart of Trino, a town in the province of Vercelli, Piedmont. For an entire day, the historic center turns into a vast, widespread tasting route: local shops, boutiques, and businesses open their doors to regional wineries, creating a culinary itinerary that blends oenology, local commerce, and conviviality.
The heart of the event is the tasting experience: dozens of Piedmontese wineries, many from the nearby Monferrato region, offer over a hundred labels to visitors. The formula is simple and beloved by all: you purchase a glass and tasting tokens at a central point in town and then wander freely between the stalls set up in the streets and shops, sampling wines and chatting with the producers. Over the years, the network of participants has grown, involving dozens of wineries and collaborations with organizations such as the Enoteca Regionale del Monferrato.
Trino DiVino is much more than a simple wine exhibition. The day is marked by numerous side events:
The event is organized by the Associazione Operatori Commerciali di Trino (AOCT) in collaboration with the Municipality of Trino. It is an event born from the local commercial fabric that has become a true brand capable of independently enlivening the town, while showcasing Piedmontese wine production and the businesses of the historic center. A day that tells the story of the food and wine identity of the Vercelli and Monferrato regions, to be experienced while strolling, glass in hand, through the streets of Trino.
The new edition of Trino DiVino is set for Sunday, September 13, 2026, as confirmed on the official channels of the Municipality of Trino. As every year, the historic center will host the widespread tasting route featuring Piedmontese wineries and the numerous side activities that characterize the event.
At the moment, the detailed program for the 2026 edition is still being updated: the complete list of participating wineries, labels available for tasting, schedules, and side events will be communicated by the Associazione Operatori Commerciali di Trino (AOCT) and the Municipality in the weeks preceding the event. To stay updated, it is recommended to follow the Trino DiVino social media pages and the website of the Municipality of Trino.
The detailed program for the 2026 edition will be announced by the organizers in the weeks leading up to the event. Based on past editions, the day includes Piedmontese wine tastings in the shops and streets of the historic center, a parade of vintage vehicles with the Concours d'Elegance, street food and Vercelli-style gastronomy, and live music and DJ sets from the afternoon until evening. The list of wineries, schedules, and side events will be published on the official channels of the Municipality of Trino and the Trino DiVino pages.
Trino is located in the province of Vercelli, Piedmont. By car, it can be reached via the A26 motorway (exits Casale Monferrato Sud or Vercelli Ovest) and via the provincial roads connecting Vercelli and Casale Monferrato. By train, the reference station is Vercelli, from which you can continue by bus or car.
To participate in the tastings, you can purchase a glass and tokens at the central distribution point, usually located along the main streets of the historic center. The event takes place over an entire day, from morning until evening.
The event takes place outdoors in the historic center: wear comfortable shoes for walking between the stalls. Check dates, times, and the updated program on the official channels of the Municipality of Trino and the Trino DiVino social media pages before you set off.
