The closing concert is the event that seals the annual Monferrato DanzArte "Colline in Movimento" festival, promoted by the Municipality of Fubine Monferrato and the Artesuoni Cultural Association under the artistic direction of Patrizia Campassi. While the gala evenings and choreographic showcases take place at the Teatro Municipale in Casale Monferrato, it is in Fubine Monferrato, in the heart of the Casale Monferrato area in the Province of Alessandria, that the festival finds its epilogue: moving from dance to live music, hosted in the evocative setting of the church of Santa Maria Assunta.

Young talent from the Vivaldi Conservatory

The stars of the concert are the Junior Classica Symphony Orchestra and the VivAlcoro choir, representing the "Antonio Vivaldi" State Conservatory of Alessandria, in collaboration with the Alessandria Classical Orchestra and the "Umberto Eco" Musical High School. The Junior Classica project was created to introduce young people to the study of music, fostering artistic growth and social connection; since 2022, it has collaborated with the Orchestral Conducting Preparatory course led by Maestro Paolo Ferrara. The VivAlcoro choir, founded in 2008 and directed by Professor Monica Elias, offers a repertoire ranging from sacred to contemporary music and has participated in national and international festivals.

A festival spanning Casale and Fubine

Monferrato DanzArte is more than just a concert: it is a festival that weaves together dance, music, video-dance, and artistic training, featuring the presentation of the prestigious Monferrato DanzArte Award to major figures of the international ballet scene. The festival unfolds over several days and across two municipalities, highlighting the entire Monferrato territory, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site for its vineyard landscapes. The Fubine concert represents its most intimate and accessible moment, designed for a wide audience.

A free event for everyone

Admission to the closing concert is free, offering a precious opportunity to hear great music performed by the region's young instrumentalists and choristers. The event is sponsored by the Piedmont Region and the Province of Alessandria, with the support of the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Alessandria.
