Three legendary passes of Valtellina in a single day
MOGAST - Mortirolo Gavia Stelvio is one of the most iconic cycling challenges in the Alps: three legendary climbs — the Mortirolo, the Gavia, and the Stelvio — concentrated in a single day. The event starts from Sernio, a small municipality in the province of Sondrio, in the heart of Valtellina, with its headquarters at the Casa Natura.
MOGAST is a non-competitive randonnée, a cycling tourism challenge where the stopwatch doesn't matter but the ability to complete a very tough route does. Precisely because of its appeal, it attracts a large majority of participants from abroad, becoming an international event for lovers of great alpine climbs. The classic route measures 157 km with over 5,200 meters of elevation gain; there is also a gravel version of 121 km and about 4,200 meters of elevation gain.
In addition to the sporting test, MOGAST is an opportunity to discover the panoramas of Valtellina and its passes that have entered cycling history. To crown the achievement, the unmissable pizzoccherata, a convivial moment that celebrates the symbolic dish of Valtellina tradition. A combination of effort, landscape, and taste that makes this event unique in the alpine cycling tourism scene.
For its tenth anniversary, MOGAST confirms the formula of the non-competitive randonnée with the three legendary passes tackled in a single day. The big news for the 2026 edition is the unprecedented Mortirolo from Sernio. Departure on Saturday from the small Valtellina municipality, with headquarters at the Casa Natura and the unmissable pizzoccherata.
New for 2026: the Mortirolo tackled for the first time from the Sernio side.
