Miss Adriatico — Scafa Stage

A night of beauty and entertainment in Scafa

The Scafa Stage is the summer appointment where this Val Pescara town joins the circuit of Miss Adriatico, a historic traveling beauty tour that visits numerous locations across Abruzzo. The evening takes place in Piazza Decontra, in the heart of the Municipality of Scafa (Province of Pescara), which is transformed for the occasion into an open-air runway complete with a stage, lighting, and live music.

How the evening unfolds

The format alternates the appearances of the contestants — Italian and international young women competing for the title — with entertainment segments, special guests, and performances. During the evening, the jury awards the stage winner as well as various category titles sponsored by the tour partners. It is an event designed as a community celebration: free admission, suitable for families, young people, and curious visitors.

The 2025 stage

During the August 24, 2025 edition, which brought the 49th edition of the tour to Scafa, the stage title was won by Federica D'Addazio, a student from Penne, who was awarded on stage by Mayor Giordano Di Fiore and Councilor Dina D'Alfonso. The evening, hosted by Silvia Severo and Paolo Minnucci, also saw the awarding of numerous category titles among the participants.

Organization and territory

The Miss Adriatico tour is exclusively managed by the Promozione Spettacoli agency of Montesilvano and is held under the patronage of the Abruzzo Regional Council; the Scafa stage is realized in collaboration with the Municipality of Scafa. As it is a traveling event, the calendar of locations changes from year to year: presence in Scafa is not guaranteed for every edition, but when it happens, Piazza Decontra returns to being one of the most popular stages of the city's summer, in an Abruzzo that combines beauty pageants with community gathering and local life.
