Great open-air jazz in the heart of Milano Marittima
Promoted by Pro Loco Milano Marittima with the support of the Municipality of Cervia, Milano Marittima Festi Jazz is now one of the most anticipated musical events of the summer on the Romagna Riviera. The festival takes place in the heart of Milano Marittima, a seaside resort in Cervia, province of Ravenna (Emilia-Romagna), and offers a widespread format that brings music directly to the people, outdoors and free of charge.
The festival animates the most iconic locations of the resort: the charming Rotonda Primo Maggio, the true living room of Milano Marittima, and the very central Viale Matteotti and Viale Gramsci. These stages are complemented by itinerant "on the road" concerts, which transform evening strolls into a continuous musical experience, among shops, bars, and outdoor seating areas overlooking the seafront.
The artistic offering is intentionally broad and accessible: it ranges from classic jazz to swing, from funk to soul music, up to the great arrangements of Italian songs. In previous editions, the festival has hosted popular artists and ensembles, alternating big bands, orchestral ensembles, and author projects capable of appealing to both enthusiasts and the general holiday crowd.
Festi Jazz was born from the idea of combining artistic quality, participation, and enhancement of the territory: music thus becomes a way to experience Milano Marittima in a glamorous yet popular way, with free evenings that attract residents and tourists alike. The initiative is part of the resort's broader summer programme, designed to accompany the entire season with cultural and entertainment events.
The 2026 edition is spread over four evenings between July and August, with concerts generally starting in the early evening and continuing until late at night. As it is a free event during the peak summer season, it is advisable to arrive a little early to best enjoy the atmosphere of Milano Marittima's avenues.
The 2026 edition of Milano Marittima Festi Jazz is confirmed for four evenings: July 17, 18, 31, and August 1, 2026. The festival, promoted by Pro Loco Milano Marittima with the support of the Municipality of Cervia, takes place between Rotonda Primo Maggio, Viale Matteotti, and Viale Gramsci, with free admission to all evenings.
The detailed programme is under development: the organizers have announced the dates and venues, while the full lineup with artists and times will be communicated in the weeks preceding the event. For updates, please refer to the official channels of Pro Loco Milano Marittima and the tourist portal of the Municipality of Cervia.
By car: Exit at Cesena on the A14 motorway, then take the E45 / SS16 Adriatica dual carriageway towards Cervia - Milano Marittima. In summer, it is advisable to park in the designated areas outside the centre and walk to the concert area.
By train: Cervia-Milano Marittima station on the Adriatic line, a short distance from the festival avenues.
All evenings are free admission. Concerts are held outdoors between Rotonda Primo Maggio, Viale Matteotti, and Viale Gramsci.
