The Midsummer Night Sales is the 'white night' that lights up the historic center of Trino every July. Located in the province of Vercelli, in the heart of the Piedmontese rice-growing region just a stone's throw from the Po River, the town transforms for one evening into an open-air space dedicated to shopping, music, and great food. The streets and squares fill with people until late at night for what organizers call the most awaited event of the Trino summer.

Shopping, sales, and illuminated windows

The heart of the event is night-time shopping: local stores stay open well beyond their usual hours, offering summer sales with discounts and special deals. Illuminated shop windows, stalls, and merchant stands turn Corso Cavour and the surrounding streets into a shopping trail that combines the convenience of sales with the pleasure of an evening stroll.

Music, DJ sets, and entertainment

Throughout the evening, the streets come alive with music, featuring DJ sets located in various areas of the city and live music performances. From 9:30 PM to 11:00 PM, local bars and businesses host party games—surprise activities filled with laughter and entertainment—while square games and animations engage both adults and children.

Aperitifs and street food

The food and wine offerings accompany the entire night: from late afternoon aperitifs and dinners in local venues to street food, cocktails, and themed menus proposed by participating restaurants. The event is promoted by the AOCT - Associazione Operatori Commerciali di Trino (Trino Merchants' Association) together with the Municipality of Trino, Ascom Vercelli, the Piedmont Trade Districts, and the 'Borghi delle Vie d'Acqua' network.
