The metal festival of the Tuscan countryside

The Metal In Farm Festival is a music event dedicated to metal and rock, held in Castelfiorentino, in the heart of the Valdelsa, in the Province of Florence. The festival takes place at Torre Rasa, on Via O. Bacci, in a rural setting that gives the festival its name: "in farm", away from city venues and immersed in the rolling Tuscan landscape.

A second edition, now doubled

Originally launched as a single evening dedicated to the local metal scene, in 2026 the Metal In Farm Festival reaches its second edition and expands, spreading over two consecutive days. The formula remains the same as the first edition: numerous bands on stage, completely free admission, and a special focus on emerging and independent groups from the Italian metal scene.

Many bands on stage

The festival stands out for the number of groups it hosts: each evening features numerous acts, ranging from classic heavy metal to more extreme sounds, as well as hard rock and punk. It is a showcase designed for the underground scene, giving space to bands that rarely find a spot on the bills of major events. The audience is a loyal metal crowd: fans arriving from Castelfiorentino, the Valdelsa, and the rest of Tuscany for two evenings of live music.

The atmosphere

The countryside setting at Torre Rasa is one of the festival's distinctive elements. With doors opening in the late afternoon and concerts continuing into the night, the event combines the concert experience with an open-air party vibe, complete with food stalls and social moments between sets. All this in the town of Castelfiorentino, which has always cultivated a vibrant tradition of local events and festivals.
