A travelling market in the heart of Ancona

The Mercatino MyLove is now a regular fixture in the calendar of the capital of the Marche region. Not a single event, but a true travelling exhibition that, from spring until the Christmas holidays, crosses the most frequented places in Ancona, in the province of the same name: Viale della Vittoria, the Pineta del Passetto just a stone's throw from the War Memorial and the sea, Piazza Cavour, and Piazza Pertini. Each stop brings with it a handful of stalls and a different atmosphere, but the spirit remains the same: to give space to artisans and small creators.

What you can find at the stalls

The hallmark of the market is the quality of handmade items. The stalls, selected from all over Italy, offer:

• Artistic craftsmanship and unique handmade objects
• Vintage and antiques, for those who love reuse and items with a story
• Handmade jewellery, crochet work, and tailored clothing
• Typical products and regional specialities, from the Marche to Calabria, Piedmont, and Abruzzo

In the November and December editions, the market dresses up for the holidays with Christmas decorations, centrepieces, ornaments, and hundreds of gift ideas, anticipating the Ancona Christmas atmosphere.

Organisation and the travelling formula

Behind the exhibition is MyLove Eventi, an organisation active for over fifteen years in organising markets throughout the region. The municipal administration has recognised these events as local trade fair events, for their value in animating and promoting the territory. The travelling formula is the real strong point: in summer, the market moves to the Pineta del Passetto, where every Friday and Saturday in July and August, the stalls remain open until late at night, transforming the evening stroll by the sea into an opportunity for shopping and socialising.
