The Christmas Markets in Villavecchia are the Christmas event in Ronco Scrivia, in Valle Scrivia (Metropolitan City of Genoa). The event takes place in the district of Villavecchia, the oldest nucleus of the town, along Via Postumia, which is its oldest street: here cellars, garages, and ground-floor shops open to the public to host exhibitors, creating a widespread market with a unique charm.

Over seventy stalls

The market brings together artisans, non-profit associations, and local producers of agricultural and food specialities, with over seventy stands distributed among the ancient cellars of the village. Throughout the day, the following alternate:

• Itinerant shows and entertainment;
• Nativity scene exhibition set up along the street;
• Food stalls with Alpini polenta, hot chocolate, Red Cross crepes, chickpea farinata and ANPI mulled wine, wine, coffee, and sweets.

A festival for the whole family

The intimate atmosphere of the village, the lights, the aromas of winter cuisine, and the nativity scenes make the Christmas Markets in Villavecchia an ideal destination for a family outing during Advent, just a few minutes by train from Genoa. The event is included in the calendar of the Ligurian Authentic Events of the Liguria Region.
