Mediceo Live Festival

A festival in the courtyard of a grand ducal residence

The Mediceo Live Festival is a major summer series of live music and performances held in Seravezza, in the heart of Versilia, province of Lucca, within the courtyard of the Palazzo Mediceo. Commissioned by the Medici family in the 16th century as a grand ducal residence, the villa is now part of the Medici Villas and Gardens, a recognized UNESCO World Heritage site: few events in Tuscany can boast a stage so rich in history and charm.

A festival that grows year by year

Originally conceived as a summer highlight for Versilia, the festival has become one of the most popular entertainment hubs on the Tuscan coast. The artistic direction is led by Cristiano Ceragioli, while promotion is managed by Battista Ceragioli: the formula combines concerts by established artists, tributes to international music legends, and nostalgic event nights, appealing to a broad and diverse audience.

Music and solidarity

Beyond its artistic dimension, the Mediceo Live Festival also has a charitable mission: the event supports the Fondazione Monasterio and its Tuscan hospitals, the Ospedale del Cuore in Massa and the Ospedale San Cataldo in Pisa. Attending a concert under the walls of the Palazzo Mediceo thus becomes a small gesture of support for local healthcare.
