The funfair that lights up the Biella spring

The May Fair, known to everyone simply as the Biella Funfair, is one of the most deep-rooted events in the city's calendar. Every year, between the second half of May and the first days of June, the large Città Studi square fills with rides, bright signs, and music, becoming the evening meeting point for families, teenagers, and children from all over the Biella Province and North-Eastern Piedmont.

Dozens of attractions for all ages

The fun village set up in the Città Studi parking lot features over eighty attractions spread across the entire esplanade. There is space for the little ones, with bouncy castles, obstacle courses, classic water bubbles, and the apple caterpillar, but also for those seeking thrills: the Ferris wheel that overlooks the city, the Booster, the mirror maze, centrifugal rides, and the inevitable bumper cars. Between one ride and another, there is no shortage of food stands with cotton candy, sweets, and sandwiches, which are an integral part of the fair's atmosphere.

A city tradition

The Città Studi Funfair is now a fixed appointment of the Biella spring, organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Biella, which regulates the logistical and traffic aspects of the event every year. During the fair, temporary changes to traffic in the Città Studi area are expected, with parking limitations and evening bans designed to ensure visitor safety, particularly on Friday and Saturday nights.

Discounts and promotions

A historic feature of the May Fair is the discount vouchers: every year the local press, in particular La Provincia di Biella, distributes coupons that allow you to get reductions of up to 50% on many attractions. Furthermore, Sunday mornings are often dedicated to special promotions designed for families, with reduced prices on numerous rides during the morning opening hours.
