Massa Martana's Most Anticipated Festival
The Massetane Days are the highlight of the summer in Massa Martana, a small municipality in the province of Perugia nestled among the Martani Mountains. Now in its 58th edition in 2026, the event transforms Piazza Umberto I and the historic center into a grand stage of flavors, culture, and music.
The Osteria della Faraona and Local Flavors
The gastronomic heart of the festival is the Osteria della Faraona, which offers traditional dishes and specialties based on guinea fowl and pheasant. There is also a street dedicated to artisanal gelato and the "In vino Veritas" event, featuring tastings from the best Umbrian wineries. A selection that tells the story of the enogastronomic identity of the Martani Mountains.
Culture, Shows, and White Night
The Massetane Days are not just about gastronomy: the program includes literary encounters ("Pages under the stars"), art exhibitions, magic and mentalism shows, and activities for children with a kids' area and entertainment. The most anticipated moment is the grand night of celebration, from sunset to dawn, with music, dancing, DJ sets, and folklore. An event of such appeal that it also involves temporary traffic changes on the SR 316 dei Monti Martani.
Massetane Days — edition 2026
The 2026 edition, the fifty-eighth, takes place from August 9th to 15th in the historic center of Massa Martana. The program alternates gastronomy, culture, and entertainment: from the Osteria della Faraona to the "In vino Veritas" tastings, from the literary encounters "Pages under the stars" to the evening shows, culminating in the white night of Ferragosto with music, dancing, and folklore.

Saturday, August 9th — Opening and "La Magnata"
- "La Magnata", the historical dinner in the village streets
- Opening of the Osteria della Faraona in Piazza Umberto I
Sunday, August 10th — "Stardust"
- Sunset trekking followed by dinner under the stars and astronomical observation (approximate participation fee €20)
Monday, August 11th — Show with Andrea Paris
- Andrea Paris: magic, comedy, and mentalism show
Thursday, August 14th — White Night
- Grand festival from sunset to dawn with music, dancing, DJ sets, folklore, and tasting of traditional dishes
Friday, August 15th — Ferragosto
- Closing with the Osteria della Faraona, artisanal gelato, and gastronomic events
Throughout the festival: "In vino Veritas" with tasting of Umbrian wineries, "Pages under the stars" with literary encounters, art exhibitions, and a kids' area with entertainment.

How to Get Here
Massa Martana is reachable by car from the E45 and the SR 316 dei Monti Martani. Temporary traffic changes may occur during the event: it is advisable to follow signage for parking.
