Marina Fest, the end-of-summer celebration in Marina di Ragusa
Marina Fest is a widespread event that transforms Marina di Ragusa, the seaside district of the Municipality of Ragusa (in the province of Ragusa, southeastern Sicily), into an open-air stage. Created to extend the seaside resort's tourist season beyond the summer, the event packs a dense program of music, shows, and gastronomy into two days—traditionally in October—involving the main town squares, pedestrian streets, the Andrea Doria promenade, and the picturesque Rotonda sul mare.
A widespread stage across squares and the promenade
During Marina Fest, every corner of the town lights up: from roaming street bands to street performers, live concerts to DJ sets, and shows designed for children. The main squares—Piazza Torre and Piazza Duca degli Abruzzi—and the spaces overlooking the sea host musical performances, entertainment, and activities that continue from the afternoon until late at night.
Music, families, and local flavors
The festival has a multidisciplinary and family-friendly focus: alongside the music, there is space for children's activities, bouncy castles, and entertainment, while local restaurants offer food and wine tastings featuring typical Iblean products. The most anticipated moment is the sunset concert at the Rotonda sul mare, a visually striking event that concludes the festival overlooking the Mediterranean.
A young but well-established event
The first edition of Marina Fest was held in 2024, enjoying great public success, and the format was confirmed for 2025. The event is promoted by the Municipality of Ragusa together with local associations, with the goal of showcasing Marina di Ragusa as a vibrant destination even in the shoulder season, combining entertainment, culture, and the promotion of local excellence.
The dates for the 2026 edition have not yet been announced; however, the festival remains a recurring appointment in the Iblean autumn, which can be followed through the official channels of the Municipality of Ragusa.
Marina Fest — edition 2026
At the moment, the Municipality of Ragusa has not yet published the official dates for the 2026 edition of Marina Fest. Previous editions took place in autumn (October 2024 and October 2025), so it is plausible to expect an appointment in the same season for 2026, but no date is currently confirmed.

During the event, local businesses often offer special promotions. We recommend arriving early for the sunset concert at the Rotonda, as it is very popular.
