Four days of seafood specialties and live music at Parco di Serravalle
Every spring, Parco di Serravalle, the green lung of Empoli in the Metropolitan City of Florence, transforms into a large gastronomic village dedicated to seafood. The Seafood Festival, organized under the Marenostrum banner by the Food Festival circuit together with the Jump Live Association and with the patronage of the Municipality of Empoli, brings the aromas and flavors of coastal cuisine to the Tuscan hinterland in a relaxed setting suitable for the whole family.
The menu is the true star of the event, ranging from the great classics of maritime tradition to more refined offerings. Among the dishes that have made the festival famous, you will find:
Entertainment plays a central role in the program: every evening is enlivened by live music and DJ sets, turning dinner into a true party under the park's stars. Over the years, the event has featured concerts, live sets, and guests from the Tuscan scene, in a convivial atmosphere that attracts families, young people, and lovers of good food.
The festival spans four days: stalls are open only for dinner on the first two evenings, while on the weekend, service extends to lunch as well. Admission to the park is free: you only pay for what you consume at the stalls. Parco di Serravalle is easily accessible and offers ample open spaces, ideal for enjoying an evening of taste immersed in the greenery of Empoli.
The 2026 edition of the Marenostrum Seafood Festival took place from May 14 to 17 at Parco di Serravalle in Empoli, confirming the formula appreciated over the years: food stalls open only for dinner on the first two evenings and also for lunch during the weekend, with free admission to the park.
The menu featured the great classics of maritime tradition — cacciucco and mixed fried seafood with calamari, shrimp, and salt cod — alongside more refined dishes such as fisherman-style tagliolini and seafood carbonara, as well as street food options like the octopus sandwich and a rich selection of cold and hot appetizers.
Every evening was enlivened by live music and DJ sets, following the event's established formula. The food stalls followed the usual hours:
The detailed artistic calendar, with the names of the guests and DJs for each evening, was not fully released by the organizers.
