About Maranello June Festival

The Maranello June Festival is the summer event that enlivens the center of Maranello, in the province of Modena, for four weekends with concerts, shows, car exhibitions, and specialties of the Emilian tradition. Organized by the Maranello Land of Myth Consortium together with the Municipality, the event combines the passion for engines that makes the city famous worldwide with musical evenings, entertainment for children, and street food. From the Maranello Food Fest to the Red Night dedicated to Ferraris, it's the most anticipated event of early summer in the Modenese land.

A month of celebration in the heart of the Land of Myth

The Maranello June Festival is the grand summer event that transforms the center of Maranello, in the heart of the province of Modena, into a widespread stage for four weekends, featuring Piazza Libertà, Via Stradi, Piazza Amendola, and the streets of the town center. Promoted by the Maranello Land of Myth Consortium together with the Municipality of Maranello and with the patronage of the Emilia-Romagna Region, the event brings together some of the most beloved events by the Maranello community under one program, blending the culture of engines, live music, shows, and local food and wine.

The four events of the festival

The program is divided into four distinct weekends, each with its own identity:

  • Maranello Food Fest – Three days dedicated to taste in Piazza Amendola and Parco Due, with an evening gastronomic area (pizza, crescentine, borlenghi, piadine, grilled meat, cocktails, and ice cream), shows, markets, workshops for children, and sports exhibitions.
  • Maranello Motor Fantafest – A celebration that blends comics, video games, cosplay, cinema, and iconic cars between Piazza Libertà and Via Stradi: legendary movie cars on display such as James Bond's Aston Martin DB5, the DeLorean from Back to the Future, and the Vespa from Roman Holiday, with cosplay contests, concerts, and meetings with authors.
  • Red Night – The pulsating heart of the festival, the white night entirely dedicated to the passion for engines, with dozens of Ferraris on display in the town center streets, itinerant shows, and musical entertainment until late at night.
  • Concluding musical evenings – Featuring ballroom dancing, group dances, and live concerts, the final weekends close the event with a celebration in Piazza Libertà.

Maranello, the city of engines

Home to the Ferrari factory and the famous Museum, Maranello is a name that evokes a passion for racing and automotive excellence worldwide. The Maranello June Festival celebrates this identity in a popular and festive way: during the Red Night, in particular, the red of the Prancing Horse cars invades the streets and squares, while the Ferrari Museum remains open with special hours and rates. It's the ideal opportunity to experience the spirit of a territory that has made engines its flag, in a family-friendly and accessible setting for everyone.

An event for all ages

The festival is designed for a wide and diverse audience: families with children, engine enthusiasts, lovers of good Emilian cuisine, and the curious attracted by the festive atmosphere of the historic center. Events are free admission, enlivened every evening by music, markets, workshops, and shows that continue until late at night.
