The Carnival at the immersive biopark

The Magic Carnival at Zoom Torino is one of the most beloved events of the winter season at the Cumiana biopark, located in the metropolitan area of Turin, Piedmont. For several weekends between February and March, Zoom Torino sheds its classic wildlife park persona to become a large Carnival village, where children can dress up and enjoy the festivities in close contact with lions, gibbons, penguins, and sloths.

Magic, soap bubbles, and superheroes

The program is entirely dedicated to families and children. Among the most popular attractions are illusionist performances like the Magic Comic Show, which blends magic and comedy, and the Magic Lab, a school for little magicians to learn surprising tricks and gags. There is also the Bubble Dream Show, with its play of colors and giant soap bubbles, while princesses, superheroes, cosplayers, and characters inspired by the worlds of magic, gaming, and cartoons roam the park's paths.

The Great Costume Contest

The heart of the event is the Great Costume Contest, a fancy-dress competition that awards the best costumes across several categories, including one dedicated to outfits made from recycled materials, reflecting the park's green spirit. Registration is available online and is open to all children in costume.

Carnival among the animals

The unique feature of the Magic Carnival is its bond with the biopark's animals: the park's inhabitants receive special Carnival-themed enrichments, and through the Carnival Talk Edition and Extra experience sessions, visitors can discover the extraordinary abilities of African lions, gibbons, and other animals. Around Valentine's Day, the park also offers themed tours and dinners for couples and nature lovers.
