Every year, at the beginning of August, the village of Mortaso — a small hamlet in the municipality of Spiazzo, in Val Rendena — comes alive for the Madonna della Neve Festival. The event is tied to the liturgical feast of Our Lady of the Snows, celebrated on August 5th, and is deeply rooted in the popular and religious traditions of the Rendena community in the province of Trento, in the heart of Trentino-Alto Adige.

A Community Celebration

The festival is organized by the Pro Loco Spiazzo APS with the contribution of local associations, including the La Trisa association.
