Women's music festival in Torremaggiore
Lunatica is the new music festival that the Municipality of Torremaggiore, in the upper Tavoliere of the Foggia province, is launching for the summer of 2026. As the name suggests, it is a festival dedicated to female talent: four events that put female artists and musicians at the center, in a journey of live music, emotions, and local discovery. The first edition runs from June 28th to August 5th and aims to highlight one of the most evocative spots in the city's cultural life.
The heart of the festival is the "Fabrizio De André" Open-Air Theatre, set within the municipal pine forest of Torremaggiore. This space, one of the city's cultural symbols, provides a natural backdrop for the concerts: an open-air amphitheater where music drifts among the pines, offering summer evenings dedicated to listening and conviviality. The choice of this venue is part of the journey that led Torremaggiore to its regional recognition as a City of Art.
Lunatica is more than just music: each event combines artistic performances with tastings of local food and wine excellence. A glass of wine sparkles by the stage, and the offering blends entertainment, local produce, and social connection in an original format designed to provide the audience with an immersive experience focused on beauty, sharing, and well-being.
The festival is part of the broader Torrestate 2026 program, the summer calendar promoted by the Municipal Administration of Torremaggiore, which offers a rich schedule of music, cinema, performances, and traditions from July to September, including events like Jazz in Villa and Cinema Under the Stars. Lunatica represents its female musical soul, promoted by the Department of Culture.
The first edition of Lunatica features four evenings spread between the end of June and early August 2026. The names of the artists starring in each event are announced progressively by the Municipality of Torremaggiore and the Department of Culture. For times, tickets, and tasting details, please refer to the official channels of the Municipality as part of the Torrestate 2026 program in Puglia.
