The LedroMan Hardskin Triathlon Sprint is one of Italy's most beloved triathlon races and the most popular of its kind in Trentino. Every year in mid-July, over a thousand athletes gather in Pieve di Ledro, in the municipality of Ledro (Province of Trento), on the shores of the stunning Lake Ledro, one of the clearest bodies of water in the Alps. Organized by the A.S.D. Triledroenergy association, the event combines sport, nature, and scenery in a charming mountain setting within the Alto Garda Trentino area.

The Race and the Course

LedroMan is a sprint distance triathlon, consisting of three consecutive stages:

• Swimming — 750 meters in the crystal-clear waters of Lake Ledro, on a triangular course starting from the shore.
• Cycling — 20 kilometers, two 10 km laps around the lake, featuring an uphill section and a technical descent that test even the most experienced athletes.
• Running — 5 kilometers along the lakeside promenade and the cycle path that runs alongside the water.

The course, as scenic as it is challenging, has made LedroMan a classic in the national triathlon calendar: fast and suitable for record times, yet technical enough to reward the best-prepared athletes.

An Event That Has Become a Tradition

Born in 2014, LedroMan has grown edition after edition to become a true guaranteed sell-out, with the maximum number of entries reached well before race day. The Ledro Valley, with its villages, Bronze Age pile dwellings, and pristine nature, provides the backdrop for a weekend that goes beyond competition: an expo, a welcome party with live music, professional photography, electronic timing, and medical assistance on water and land complete the experience.

Where It Takes Place

The event headquarters are in Pieve di Ledro, the main village of the scattered municipality of Ledro, in Trentino-Alto Adige. The start area, transitions, and finish line are concentrated along the lakefront, easily accessible and ideal for spectators who want to follow the different phases of the race up close.
