The tattoo convention at Palazzo Bertello, Borgo San Dalmazzo
The LaVallée Tattoo Fest is a convention dedicated to the art of tattooing. For its 2026 edition, it chose the setting of Palazzo Bertello, in the center of Borgo San Dalmazzo, at the foot of the Maritime Alps in the province of Cuneo. Originating in the nearby Aosta Valley, from which it takes its name ("La Vallée"), the event has grown year after year to become one of the most anticipated gatherings in the North-West for those who love ink on skin.
The heart of the event is the presence of nearly one hundred tattoo artists from the Italian and international scene, working live at their booths throughout the festival. The public can observe different techniques and styles up close, chat with the artists, and, by appointment, get tattooed during the event. Alongside the tattoo booths, there is a rich exhibition area with stalls selling clothing, accessories, and professional tattoo equipment.
The two days are marked by tattoo contests, competitions that reward the best work created during the convention, divided into categories such as Best of Color, Traditional, Black & Grey, Realistic, and the coveted Best in Show. The program is completed by numerous live performances:
Outside Palazzo Bertello, a food truck area is set up with various gastronomic offerings, accessible even without a ticket: a way to involve the entire Borgo San Dalmazzo community and visiting tourists. The event thus combines tattoo culture with entertainment, music, and conviviality in a festive atmosphere that attracts a broad and diverse audience.
Borgo San Dalmazzo, an important crossroads at the foot of the Stura, Gesso, and Vermenagna valleys, offers the ideal setting for an event that looks simultaneously at local tradition and contemporary trends. Palazzo Bertello, with its spacious areas, welcomes artists and visitors in a comfortable setting that is well-connected to the provincial capital, Cuneo, and the rest of Piedmont.
For the 2026 edition, the LaVallée Tattoo Fest chose Palazzo Bertello in Borgo San Dalmazzo, hosting nearly one hundred tattoo artists from the Italian and international scene engaged in live tattooing.
The program alternated tattoo contests (Best of Color, Traditional, Black & Grey, Realistic, and Best in Show categories) with numerous performances: pole dance by the Cuneo school, burlesque, circus arts, and DJ sets with DJ Polo. On Saturday night, the "Tattoo Party" featured a live concert by the band Two of Spades, while international guests included Jacob & Monique Angel. Outside, the food truck area was accessible to everyone without a ticket.
Palazzo Bertello is located at Via Boves 4, in the center of Borgo San Dalmazzo (CN). By car, it can be reached from the A33 Cuneo-Asti motorway or the state roads connecting Cuneo to the valleys.
