Three days of music, street food, and sports at the Curiel Lakes in Campogalliano
The Lake Sound Festival is the musical event of the summer at the Curiel Lakes in Campogalliano, a small municipality in the province of Modena on the banks of the Secchia river, in the heart of Emilia-Romagna. For three days, the natural area of the lakes comes alive from afternoon until late at night, combining music, gastronomy, sports, and relaxation in one large outdoor event.
The heart of the festival is the musical program: DJ sets immersed in greenery and live concerts on the stage overlooking the water transform the evenings into a party that continues under the stars. The offerings range from sophisticated electronic music to live performances, with a particular focus on the record and club scene. Among the names announced for the 2026 edition is Cristina Lazic, an artist of Italian origin active on the international electronic scene.
Alongside the music, the festival is also a gastronomic journey through selected food trucks: from Abruzzese arrosticini to Apulian bombette, from Altamura bread to Ascolana olives, to the traditional Emilian crescentine and borlenghi. Bars and shaded areas complete the experience, making the Curiel Lakes a place to stop, eat, drink, and listen to good music.
The Lake Sound Festival has a strong sporting focus: on the multi-sport fields and on the water, activities are held for all ages, such as dragon boat, archery, sailing, and pony experiences for children. Local sports clubs and regional partners animate the days with free trials and family-oriented activities, in a natural setting suitable for everyone.
Organized as part of the summer season of the Curiel Lakes, the festival has become a reference point for summer entertainment in Campogalliano and the surrounding municipalities in the Modena area. Entry is by free contribution via wristband: a formula designed to make the event accessible to everyone, from young people to families.
