The Lake Festival is an open-air music event held every September at the Baggalocke swimming lake in Gais, a small town in the Puster Valley in the province of Bolzano, in the heart of South Tyrol. The event was created to celebrate the end of summer with music, dancing, and an exuberant atmosphere, transforming the lake shores into a large outdoor stage for the weekend.

Music and Stages

The festival features multiple stages running simultaneously: from the main stage dedicated to big names in electronic and dance music to themed stages and indoor sea parties. Over the years, the festival has hosted a variety of Italian and international DJs and acts, with genres ranging from electronic and house to dance and high-energy party rhythms. The programming is designed to keep the crowd going from late afternoon until late at night.
