Great music in military barracks and the most evocative corners of the Grosseto Maremma
La Voce di Ogni Strumento is one of Tuscany's most original musical events and a staple of the autumn, winter, and spring calendar in Grosseto. Its hallmark is the choice of venues: concerts are held in military barracks usually closed to the public, historic theaters, the heart of the Maremma Regional Park, and institutional auditoriums, turning every evening into an opportunity to discover hidden gems of the city.
The festival is conceived and organized by A.Gi.Mus. Grosseto (Youth Musical Association) under the artistic direction of Maestro Gloria Mazzi. The 2025/2026 edition marks the fifteenth anniversary, continuing its successful formula: bringing diverse audiences closer to great music, with the conviction that culture creates value for the entire community of Grosseto and the Maremma region.
The program spans from classical music to jazz, from grand symphony orchestras to chamber recitals, and performances that weave together music, science, and theater. Featured venues include the Cemivet (Military Veterinary Center), the Teatro degli Industri, the Savoia Cavalleria 3rd Barracks, the Hall of Honor of the Guardia di Finanza, the Granaio Lorenese in Spergolaia within the Maremma Park, the Police Headquarters Auditorium, and the 4th Wing Hangar, with a grand finale in Castiglione della Pescaia.
The festival is held under the patronage of the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Culture, the Tuscany Region, and the municipalities of Grosseto and Castiglione della Pescaia, as well as the Maremma Park. Collaborations with military institutions and the Città di Grosseto Symphony Orchestra and the Orchestra della Toscana demonstrate the event's deep integration into the cultural life of the Tuscan Maremma.
The 2025/2026 season marks fifteen years of the festival with nine events spanning classical music, jazz, musical outreach, and symphonic performances. Artistic direction is by Maestro Gloria Mazzi.
The program alternates between chamber recitals and symphonic concerts, featuring the Città di Grosseto Symphony Orchestra and the Orchestra della Toscana, while hosting nationally and internationally renowned soloists. Venues range from military barracks to historic theaters, and from the Maremma Park to institutional auditoriums, concluding in Castiglione della Pescaia.
