About Estate Festival
Spezia's Summer Takes Centre Stage
La Spezia Estate Festival is the major summer review of the Ligurian capital, organised by the Teatro Civico della Spezia. A multidisciplinary event that, from the beginning of July to mid-August, fills the city evenings with theatre, comedy, dance, storytelling, music, and magic, hosting leading performers on the national scene.
Three Exceptional Stages
The shows take place in three symbolic locations in La Spezia: Piazza Europa, in front of the Cathedral; Castello San Giorgio, the fortress overlooking the city from above; and the PIN, the intergenerational hub housed in the former historic gardens. Different settings that give each evening a special atmosphere.
A Programme for Every Taste
The festival alternates big names in comedy and cabaret, dance and contemporary theatre performances, talk-shows, musical tributes, and illusionism acts. A programme designed for a broad and diverse audience, with affordable ticket prices and discounts for students and season ticket holders. In the heart of the eastern Ligurian province, the review has become one of the most anticipated events of the season.
Estate Festival — edition 2026
The seventh edition of La Spezia Estate Festival runs from July 1st to August 16th, 2026, with over ten events featuring theatre, comedy, dance, music, and illusionism, spread across Piazza Europa, Castello San Giorgio, and the PIN.
The programme combines major names in Italian cabaret and comedy, dance-theatre performances, and talk-shows, with a particular focus on the variety of artistic languages.

Tickets
On sale online at Vivaticket and TicketOne and at the Teatro Civico ticket office (Mon-Sat 9:00 AM-12:30 PM, Wednesdays also until 7:00 PM). Affordable rates with reductions for students and season tickets for those who choose multiple shows.
How to get there
Piazza Europa and the PIN are located in the city centre, near the Central Station. Castello San Giorgio is reachable on foot from the historic centre.
