Dinner by the sea, music and seafood flavors in the village of Fezzano
Fezzano, a hamlet of the municipality of Portovenere in the province of La Spezia, is a small village overlooking the Gulf of La Spezia. The Festa della Borgata Marinara is the summer event that brings the community together on the promenade, with good food and music.
The event offers dinner by the sea every evening, with food stands dedicated to the Gulf's products — sgabei, mussels, and oysters. After dinner, the party continues with music: DJ sets, themed evenings, and live concerts, including tributes to Italian singer-songwriters.
Organized by A.S.D. Borgata Marinara Fezzano and U.S.D. Fezzanese with the patronage of the Municipality of Portovenere, the festival is a moment of aggregation that enhances the village's maritime identity. It's an opportunity to discover Fezzano, authentic and quiet, just a few kilometers from the most famous destinations in the Gulf of Poets.
For 2026, the Festa della Borgata Marinara di Fezzano is expected on a weekend in July, following tradition. The event will again feature dinner by the sea with stands offering sgabei, mussels, and oysters, and musical evenings with DJ sets and live concerts. The exact dates and detailed program will be announced by the organizing associations on eventiportovenere.com.
The 2026 program has not yet been published. The festival usually spans three days with:
By car: from La Spezia, follow SP530 towards Portovenere, then take the turn-off for Fezzano. By boat: connections within the Gulf of La Spezia.
Free admission; food and drinks are paid for at the stands. Kitchen and stands open from late afternoon.
