About La Pli te Taì

La Pli te Taì is the village festival of Pieve di Marebbe (Municipality of Marebbe/Enneberg), an evening celebration that brings the church square to life with Ladin flavors and music. In the heart of the Dolomites, the event offers traditional Val Badia cuisine with a street-food twist: canederli, tultres, and fried specialties enjoyed outdoors. Live bands and DJs keep the party going late into the night, creating a convivial atmosphere beloved by both locals and visitors to the Plan de Corones area.

The Ladin festival of Pieve di Marebbe

The La Pli te Taì Village Festival is the summer celebration of the small village of Pieve di Marebbe (known in Ladin and German as Enneberg Pfarre), a hamlet within the Marebbe/Enneberg municipality in the Province of Bolzano, in the Trentino-Alto Adige region. Set in the church square, the festival transforms the village center for one evening into a gathering place where the Ladin community and guests come together over food and music.

Ladin cuisine with a street-food twist

The heart of the festival is the Ladin gastronomy of Val Badia, served in an informal style perfect for eating in the square. Traditional dishes are reinterpreted as street food, allowing you to enjoy them comfortably outdoors while strolling between the stands:

  • Canederli (known in Ladin as bales), the large bread dumplings that are a symbol of mountain cuisine;
  • Tultres, Ladin fritters filled with spinach and ricotta or sauerkraut;
  • Various fried specialties and local sweet and savory treats.

Everything is accompanied by beer, wine, and drinks, in a simple and genuine atmosphere that captures the essence of South Tyrolean village festivals.

Music and evening atmosphere

La Pli te Taì is, above all, an evening celebration: live bands liven up the square during dinner, while late-night entertainment continues with a DJ, perfect for dancing until the early hours. It is an event designed for socializing, a moment of conviviality that unites the village generations and involves the many visitors present in the Plan de Corones (Kronplatz) area during the summer.

A tradition of the Ladin community

The festival is organized by the Enneberg Parish and is deeply rooted in the village's identity: the name La Pli te Taì itself evokes, in the Ladin language of Val Badia, the idea of the "Pieve" (parish church) and the village gathering. Participating in La Pli te Taì means experiencing the Ladin culture of the Dolomites up close, through gastronomic traditions, language, and mountain hospitality in one of the most fascinating valleys of South Tyrol.

La Pli te Taì — edition 2026

The 2026 edition of the La Pli te Taì Village Festival in Pieve di Marebbe is expected to take place during the summer, as per tradition. At the moment, the dates for the 2026 edition have not yet been announced by the organizers. As in previous years, the festival is expected to feature Ladin street food with canederli, tultres, and fried specialties, accompanied by live music and DJs in the village square.

The La Pli te Taì Village Festival returns in summer 2026 to Pieve di Marebbe, in the Municipality of Marebbe/Enneberg. The exact dates for the 2026 edition have not yet been published: it is recommended to check with the San Vigilio-San Martin Tourist Office to confirm the calendar. Following the usual format, the evening will offer Ladin cuisine in a street-food style along with live music and DJs.
