La Pineta dei Bambini in Forte dei Marmi

La Pineta dei Bambini is the summer entertainment festival for children that brings the Pineta Emilio Tarabella to life every year. Located along Viale Matteotti in the heart of Forte dei Marmi, the pearl of Versilia in the province of Lucca, the event is promoted by the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Municipality of Forte dei Marmi in collaboration with the Fondazione Toscana Spettacolo. The festival transforms the historic pine forest, just steps from the sea, into a grand village of play and imagination.

A summer of activities for the little ones

From the second half of June until almost the end of August, the pine forest hosts a rich calendar of events designed for children aged 3 to 10 and their families. The program alternates between creative and art workshops, theatrical activities, animated readings, entertainment, games, and treasure hunts, culminating in highly anticipated evening shows. The offerings change weekly, providing new adventures every time, ranging from circus acts and puppet theater to fairy tales and themed discoveries.

The 2026 program

The 2026 edition kicks off on Monday, June 22, and continues every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday until August 20, with a break during the mid-August Ferragosto period. Workshops and entertainment take place in the late afternoon, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, and on Monday and Tuesday evenings also from 8:30 PM to 10:30 PM; the Wednesday and Thursday evening shows are scheduled for 9:15 PM.

• The opening days are dedicated to the workshop Il Piccolo Circo - Il racconto col corpo by the If Prana company.
• Wednesday, June 24, features the show Fuori dalla valigia by Compagnia Begherè.
• Thursday, June 25, is the turn of Oggetti Volanti Ben Identificati by the Karacongioli.

In the following weeks, the lineup continues with new companies and new children's theater titles, entertainment, and music, for a total of dozens of events throughout the summer.

Admission and participation

All activities are free and open to the public, with booking recommended due to high attendance. An accompanying adult is required for children. It is a simple and genuine opportunity to experience the Versilian summer amidst nature, creativity, and fun.
