La Mezza 300 - Granfondo della Valnerina is a free excursion cycling event, non-competitive, organized by ASD Sempresuipedali, starting and finishing in Cascia, in the province of Perugia, from Piazza San Francesco. Designed for those who want to spend a day in the saddle, it is suitable for road bikes and e-bikes and focuses on the beauty of the landscape rather than competition.
Multiple routes through villages and mountains
The event offers multiple routes of varying length and elevation gain — from the shortest, accessible to many, to the most challenging exceeding one hundred kilometers — which cross the spectacular landscapes of the Valnerina, among the villages, valleys, and mountains of this corner of Umbria. The routes are marked and equipped with control points, with GPS tracks available for download.

More than a race, La Mezza 300 is an opportunity to discover the territory of the Valnerina and the Municipality of Cascia by cycling, in a friendly atmosphere that brings together athletes, cycle tourists, and families. The 2026 edition, the 7th, of La Mezza 300 - Granfondo della Valnerina takes place on Sunday, July 12, with start and finish in Cascia, Piazza San Francesco. The event, a free excursion suitable for road bikes and e-bikes, offers three routes of varying length and elevation gain through the spectacular landscapes of the Valnerina.

- 8:15–8:30 AM — "French-style" start (rolling start)
The routes
- Short: 58 km, 890 m elevation gain
- Medium: 87 km, 1,480 m elevation gain
- Long: 111 km, 1,980 m elevation gain
Routes are marked with chip timing control points and downloadable GPS tracks. Online registration (via Icron.it, until July 10) and on-site on July 11 and 12.
