Tre Passi Umbri — Brevetto Cicloturistico

For 2026, the Tre Passi Umbri is confirmed as a permanent cycling tourism brevett, available from May 1st to September 30th. The two mixed-surface routes remain available — the short 95 km and the long 125 km — through Passo Spina, Passo Gavelli-Capistrello, and Forca di Cerro, with Cerreto di Spoleto and Triponzo among the control points along the route.

The 2026 edition is dedicated to the memory of Michele Scarponi, with a message focused on road safety. Registration is online or at Cicli Scocchetti, and participants can complete the route at their preferred time during the season.

The Tre Passi Umbri does not have a fixed schedule: it is a brevett that can be completed freely from May 1st to September 30th, 2026. Participants choose between the short route (95 km) and the long route (125 km) and can start from one of the control locations (Spoleto, Verchiano, Valico del Soglio, Postignano, Cerreto di Spoleto, Montefiorello, Poggiodomo). The long route from Spoleto crosses Passo Spina, Verchiano, Valico del Soglio, Postignano, Cerreto di Spoleto, Poggiodomo, Passo Gavelli-Capistrello, and Forca di Cerro before returning. Validation is done by taking selfies at the control points and sending them to the organization.

The three passes of the Umbrian Apennines (Passo Spina, Gavelli-Capistrello, Forca di Cerro) and the passage through the Valnerina of Cerreto di Spoleto.

Registration

Online registration (€21 with travel diary and gadget) or in person at Cicli Scocchetti (€11). After registering, you will receive the personalized diary and race number.

How to validate

Complete one of the two routes between May and September, taking photos at the control points for validation.

Route notice

In case of road works (e.g., between Cerreto di Spoleto and Triponzo), some control points may be temporarily suspended and routes diverted: follow local signage and notices on the official website.
