About La Corrida of Mattie

Every year, the small village of Mattie in the Susa Valley (province of Turin) hosts "La Corrida – Amateur Talent Show," an evening of entertainment that brings local amateur artists to the stage. Inspired by the famous format created by Corrado, performers of all ages compete before a live audience with singing, acts, and moments of pure comedy. It is a well-established tradition that draws crowds from across the lower valley for a genuine evening of improvised talent, emotion, and warm community spirit.

La Corrida arrives in Mattie

In the small village of Mattie, nestled on the slopes of the Susa Valley in the province of Turin, "La Corrida – Amateur Talent Show" has become one of the most anticipated events on the calendar. Inspired by the legendary television format created by Corrado, the event showcases amateur talent from the village and surrounding areas in a friendly competition where the goal isn't just winning, but the courage to perform before one's own community.

An evening of entertainment for all ages

The charm of the Mattie Corrida lies in its variety: from children to budding singer-songwriters, and from covers of famous hits to original performances. In the latest edition, thirteen contestants took turns on stage with acts as diverse as they were engaging. The evening is hosted by Maurizio Pisu, who guides the audience through the performances with professionalism and charm, while a jury awards the prizes to the winners of the night.

The spirit of the village

More than just a competition, La Corrida is a community celebration: the audience participates, applauds, cheers, and becomes an integral part of the show. It is this familiar and welcoming atmosphere that makes the event special—a chance to gather and enjoy an evening of lighthearted fun in the heart of the Piedmontese mountains.
