Three days of electronic music within the walls of the Forte Albertino in Vinadio
The Komorebi Music Festival is one of the most evocative electronic music events in Piedmont. It takes place in Vinadio, a town in the Province of Cuneo nestled in the upper Stura Valley, inside the imposing walls of the Forte Albertino—a 19th-century fortress overlooking the valley on the road to the Colle della Maddalena. Here, the raw power of the alpine wilderness meets the most cutting-edge sounds of the electronic scene, creating an immersive experience of music, landscape, and community.
The festival's artistic vision revolves around electronic music in its most refined forms: techno, ambient, downtempo, and electronica. The layout alternates between open-air stages overlooking the lake and the fort's small woods, and indoor spaces dedicated to multisensory installations and prolonged ambient listening sessions. The setting of the Forte di Vinadio is not just a logistical location but a statement of identity: the fortress becomes an integral part of the experience with its courtyards, stone walls, and mountain vistas.
Komorebi is an independent festival that serves as a cultural hub, promoting free, authentic spaces that are deeply connected to the territory. Over the years, the event has grown to attract an international audience and prominent artists from the European electronic scene, while maintaining the intimate, family-like atmosphere that defines it. The experience is completed by the option to camp on-site, allowing attendees to live the event in total immersion with the nature of the Stura Valley.
For those who love electronic music experienced in an extraordinary context, the Komorebi Music Festival is a must-add to your calendar for early September in Piedmont.
